ECS FC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ECS FC mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and web platform at portal.ecsfc.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

6.1 Within the ECS FC Community
Team Members: Your name, profile picture, jersey number, and availability status are visible to other members of your team(s)
Coaches & Administrators: Team coaches and league administrators can view additional profile information for team management purposes
Match Statistics: Your game statistics (goals, assists) are displayed publicly within the league
6.2 Service Providers
We may share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, email delivery), subject to confidentiality agreements.
6.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ECS FC, our users, or others.
6.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

7.1 Storage Location
Your data is stored on secure servers located in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States.
7.2 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including:
HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
Encrypted storage for sensitive data (passwords, tokens)
Regular security audits and updates
Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 2 years after account deletion (for statistical continuity)
Match Statistics: Retained indefinitely as part of historical league records
Photos: Profile pictures are retained while your account is active; iSpy submissions are retained for the duration of the challenge plus 1 year
Log Data: Automatically deleted after 90 days
Push Notification Tokens: Deleted when you uninstall the app or revoke notification permissions
9. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
9.1 Access & Portability
You can view most of your personal information within the app's Profile section. To request a complete copy of your data, contact us.
9.2 Correction
You can update your profile information directly in the app at any time.
9.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. Note that:
Match statistics may be retained in anonymized form for league records
Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
9.4 Notification Preferences
You can manage push notification preferences in the app settings or your device settings.
9.5 Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw consent for optional data processing (like marketing communications) at any time.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
